Pre-Company Program Info

Commitment:

• Two Core Weekly Classes: Pre-Company dancers will attend two key classes each week—one dedicated to strengthening technique and one focused on choreography. This gives them a solid foundation while letting them experience the fun of learning routines.

• Explore More with Add-On Classes: If your dancer wants to try even more, they can add recreational or specialty classes like ballet, tap, hip hop, or acro. It’s a great way for them to discover new styles and continue growing at their own pace.

• No Pressure to Compete: There’s no competition requirement in Pre-Company. Dancers can build confidence and skills in a supportive environment, and when they’re ready, they’ll have the option to move into competitions with instructor approval.

Example Scenarios:

• Scenario 1: Starting Fresh
  If a dancer enrolls in Pre-Company only, the cost is $115/month.

• Scenario 2: Transitioning from Recreational
  A dancer currently taking 2 recreational classes ($90/month) decides to move into Pre-Company:

  • Pre-Company Base = $115/month

  • Adds Jazz + Hip Hop as optional extras = $70/month
    ➡️ New Total = $185/month

• Provides a strong foundation in technique to support all styles of dance

• Offers an introduction to choreography and performance etiquette in a supportive environment

• Creates a pathway to competitive dance without requiring a full commitment right away

• Helps dancers build confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills that carry over into all areas of life

How Long Until They Can Compete?
Most dancers spend 1–2 seasons in Pre-Company before moving into full competition. The timeline depends on each dancer’s readiness, progress, and their instructor’s recommendation.
